According to the research ios 7.1 is running on 21 percent of iphones and ipads but the most of the users claim that this software drops their devices battery life faster.
Ars Technica tested the battery life on different devices including the Ipad and Iphone 5s and they discovered that battery life was in nearly all cases slightly lower in ios 7.1 than the latest version of predecessor,iOS7.0.6 which launched in the mid of the february with an SSL Connection Bug Fix.
